Daniel “DJ Bodz” Bodington has over twenty years of experience in the Pub, Club and Mobile DJ industry. He has been doing this since he was sixteen and continues to grow his knowledge of music and varies and improves his mixing methods every week as is required by a purely talented performer.

He has played alongside many popular bands from Geelong and Melbourne such as Good Faces For Radio, Test Pilot Molly, Hey Charger and Cherry in a varying number of venues as a guest or resident DJ. Daniel has been performed at hundreds of mobile functions such as kids parties, birthday parties and weddings in this time and this number continues to grow making him truly a specialist in what he does for both the dance floor and the atmosphere at any function.

As he is used to being a "one man band" his repertoire also includes varying skills in the art of the microphone also known as MC or Master of Ceremonies Daniel uses his voice as a tool to excite the dancefloor and encourage more to dance and partake in providing him with requests to better personalise the event to the most important people present - his audience and potential dancers. This skill is also skilfully utilised at weddings to highlight important aspects of the event.

Daniel was originally taught to mix using turntables and vinyl but has moved from them to CD players and then later to using a laptop and controller. He uses current industry standard audio & lighting hardware and software for Disk Jockeys and Lighting Designers around the world. Daniel’s music collection grows every day but he currently stocks around about twenty thousand songs – each one individually picked for quality and guaranteed to get any party started when used and mixed the right way.

Daniel currently resides in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions of New South Wales and is bringing his skill set to an event near you!
